Women and Democracy Initiative

As part of its Freedom and Democracy Program, Omid for Iran has launched a Women and Democracy Campaign.  The campaign focuses on mobilizing international support for advancing the rights, status and welfare of women in Iran.  It is premised on the notion that men and women are equal and that all forms of discrimination against women impede the progress for Iranian society.
